Our vision is to play our part in bringing life, through Jesus, to the people of the East of England.
We are a large and growing church, one church, yet formed of multiple parishes across the city of Norwich. We are a family, journeying through life together, seeking to love God, to love each other, and to love those around us, as we gather and scatter.
We gather on Sundays, and midweek as groups, communities, teams, and as family. We gather to worship, to pray, to open God’s word, and to be filled over and over again by the power of the Holy Spirit. We gather to connect with one another, to have fun, and to encourage each other along the way.
We scatter to play our part in the mission that God calls us, empowered by his Spirit to live everyday, supernatural lives for him.
Our Values
Missional
The church does not exist for us, but we are the church and we exist for the world. (John 20:21)
United
The local church is the hope of the world; we can achieve infinitely more together than we can apart (Eph 4:1-6)
Generous
We will lead the way in giving sacrificially of ourselves, and do so for the good of others. It is truly more blessed to give than to receive. (1 John 3:16)
Honouring
We honour God, and we honour other people. We respect, champion and cheer each other on, and give our best for the good of all. (Rom 12:10)
Courageous
We step out and take risks, empowered by God. We believe that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. (2 Cor 12:9)
Authentic
We are all individuals, made by God, with a unique calling on our lives. We each have different talents, gifts and skills that God calls us to use for his Kingdom. (1 Peter 4:10-11, 2 Corinthians 12: 9-10, Psalm 51:17)
